Library Time

Our class absolutely LOVES library time. We really enjoy sitting quietly and taking in a few peaceful calm moments, while we read our books.  As you can see our large teddy is a big favourite amongst us :)

Our Violin Progress

We have been busy learning more and more about our violins, the names of the strings, lots of musical terms and we have began playing some short pieces.
We were very excited (as you can see in these pictures below) as we got to use the bow to play the violin.  We are really improving each and every week and our violin teachers Ciara and Ingrid are very impressed with us!

Getting Active.

Our school and our class have been very busy working towards staying active.  Every month we try to do a different thing to make exercise fun and exciting.
Every child should be doing 60 minutes of exercise every single day so we have been doing our best to reach this goal.

Below is us taking part in The Body Coach HITT sessions for kids.  We are always exhausted after these exercises but we feel great for it!

Also, we have done some dance routines.  This is something that we want to do more of too.  Take a look at some of our moves:

We have also been out for many runs in the park across from the school.  Our aim is to run 1km each day and to try and get quicker and quicker each time.  Everyone is doing really well and we ALL encourage our friends!

Who wants to be a millionaire!

Tiernan called into us to play a game of who wants to be a millionaire.  He asked us plenty of questions about the environment.  This was an exercise to help us receive our next Green Flag.  We had lots of fun, learned some new interesting things and some children were lucky enough to win some prizes.
